What is the life expectancy of my FN firearm?
With careful use, regular cleaning and proper maintenance, your FN firearm should provide you with years of trouble-free service.
What is my FN firearm worth today?
The value of any FN firearm, like all consumer products, is dependent on many factors such as its age, condition, scarcity, current market demand, etc.
To find out the approximate value of your FN firearm, you may consult a reliable reference like the current edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values. You may also consult one or more of the major firearms periodicals like Shotgun News or Gun List, or you can visit one of the numerous used firearm sales websites online. You may also have your FN firearm appraised by your local FN dealer or by a reputable firearms appraiser. They are often listed in your local telephone directory.
Why does my FN owner’s manual recommend that I do not use reloaded ammunition?
FN cannot guarantee that the reloaded ammunition you want to use meets industry specifications established by the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Association (SAAMI) or the Permanent International Commission for Firearms Testing (CIP). Because of this, using reloaded ammunition will void the warranty on your FN firearm.
Why does my FN owner’s manual recommend that I do not use aftermarket accessories?
Any addition to your FN firearm of aftermarket accessories (such as suppressors, triggers, muzzle devices, stocks, etc.) is considered a modification of your firearm from its original configuration, which may void your warranty. We are unable to adapt each firearm for every variable effect that might occur when you install a third-party manufacturer’s accessory on an FN firearm. Therefore, FN disclaims all responsibility and liability for any damage caused to you and/or your firearm as a result of aftermarket accessory use. If an aftermarket accessory causes damage to you and/or your firearm, please address your concerns with the accessory manufacturer.
Is my gun (is the gun I am interested in purchasing) available in my State?
State laws can and do change quickly and regularly. We suggest you contact your local dealer for more information on state regulations.
No, FN does not sell direct to consumers so FN cannot offer exchanges on firearms. Consult with the retail dealer where you purchased the firearm regarding their exchange/return policy.
How do I register my FN firearm for warranty?
No warranty registration for your FN firearm is required. However, FN does have a Purchase Confirmation portal so you can confirm your purchase information.
Does FN offer gun safety or shooting classes for civilians?
FN does not offer civilian firearms training at this time. We suggest that you contact a reputable training organization like the National Rifle Association or the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Your local FN retailer may also help you locate other reputable firearms safety training resources available in your area.
