deFNder® Medium
Available for military sales only.
Based on reliable and state-of-the-art technologies, the deFNder® Medium has been designed to fulfill the force protection mission through fire support and self-defense when mounted on light, medium and heavy vehicles. The deFNder® Medium can be fitted with many weapon types, including the M249 5.56mm, M240 7.62mm, FN® M2HB, FN® M2HB-QCB, or FN® M3R .50-caliber machine guns and 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher (AGL) on a universal cradle assembly. The cradle assembly is equipped with a soft mount that optimizes firing performance and reduces the level of firing shock transmitted to the weapon station. The weapons can be complemented with several options, such as a Laser Rangefinder (LRF) with ballistic computer, two-axis gyroscopic stabilization, ballistic protection and other options to tailor the system to user requirements. The system can be used in a static mount to provide installation and perimeter defense.
