The FN 16® SRP G2P H S3B was developed to provide ultimate durability and usability to the SRP G2 platform by utilizing FN’s renowned hammer-forged barrels, B5 Systems furniture and the Nightfighter handguard system.
Designed for reliable and durable service, during development, every FN 16 component passes a rigorous qualification testing protocol. The barrels are all internally coated with the same hard chrome plating used on the M240/M249 belt-fed machine guns. During production, barrels and bolts follow MIL-SPEC procedures of proof and non-destructive testing. Every carbine is subjected to visual and functional inspections, including head space verification. Before shipping, every each carbine is fired on our production range for functionality, targeting and accuracy.
