FN Pro Team’s Sevigny Continues Winning Streak
Scores Decisive Victories at Two Key Matches
(McLean, VA – March 24, 2016) FN America, LLC is proud to announce that FN Pro Team captain Dave Sevigny has added two new victories to the team’s stats, bringing his total to four consecutive wins since the start of the 2016 competitive shooting season. Sevigny skillfully won the Production Division title in both the USPSA Alabama Sectional, held March 11-12, and the U.S. Steel Nationals match held this past weekend.
Most exciting for Sevigny is the 1st Place, Overall Production Division finish at the U.S. Steel Nationals. The win this past weekend marks his seventh all-time Iron Sight division win at the match and his fourth Production win this year competing with the FNS™-9 Longslide pistol. According to Sevigny, “the Production field at the U.S. Steel Nationals had a wide representation of the firearm industry with a variety of different stock and production pistols,” and “the FNS-9 Longslide continued to prove its worthiness in competition against that stacked field.”
On the match itself, Sevigny faced a field of several Grand Master class competitors and noted that “it was a battle to the end between [him] and a few other top level guys.” The match was off to a flat start by Sevigny’s standards but he put together a strong finish, including 3 out of 4 stage wins at the last half of the match and a personal best 4.08 iron-sight average in Outer Limits.
