FN and Special Operations Warrior Foundation to Offer Scholarship Award to University of Tampa Students
(McLean, VA – Dec. 21, 2016) FN America, LLC, leading manufacturer of high-quality, reliable firearms for military, law enforcement and commercial customers, proudly announces a partnership with Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF), to provide a scholarship award to two students attending the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida.
The scholarship was awarded to John Eggers and Darian Thammarath, both freshmen who began their college education in the fall of 2016 at the University of Tampa. Eggers, son of Army Captain Daniel Eggers, will be studying Business while Darian Thammarath, step-daughter of Army Sergeant Anibal Santiago, will be pursuing a degree in Marine Biology. The award will be applicable for the remaining four years of the students’ undergraduate tenure.
