The FN QD556™ is an innovative low backpressure, forward-venting suppressor designed to enhance the performance of the next generation of SCAR® 16S series and other 5.56 caliber rifles by reducing recoil and gas blowback while maintaining accuracy.
Testing with the FN SCAR® 16S carbine resulted in less than 1 MOA of impact (POI) shift and sound suppression of 149 decibels with 5.56 (.223). This is innovative sound suppression and accuracy with legendary FN durability. The QD556 is 3D-printed from Inconel superalloy with a stainless-steel blast chamber and high temperature C-Series CERAKOTE®. It is also tested to 10,000 rounds and full-auto certified, exceeding the USSOCOM SURG requirements for durability and reliability under fully automatic fire.
The QD556’s versatile design allows for direct thread or quick detach FN mount implementation and is HUB compatible. Every QD series suppressor comes with mount pre-installed and 1.25-inch open end wrench and spanner wrench.
