FN Pro Shooter Dave Sevigny Wins Production in Georgia

Sevigny Nearly Bests Personal Speed Record at Georgia Steel Challenge Championship

(McLean, VA – June 21, 2017) FN America, LLC is proud to announce that Dave Sevigny, FN Pro Shooter, recently won Production Division at the Georgia Steel Challenge Championship, a Level 2 match and part of the Steel Challenge circuit, June 9 – 10, 2017, in Waverly Hill, Georgia. The Georgia Steel Challenge required competitors to fire a minimum 195 rounds with 155 scorable over a course of 8 stages with stationary steel targets at distances of 21 – 105 feet.

Sevigny competed in Production Division with his FNS™-9 Longslide against 133 total entrants, earning a first-place finish in Production Division and finishing fifth, overall, with an 88.86-second score, only 0.02 seconds’ difference than the personal record set at the U.S. Steel Nationals earlier this year.

“I was happy with my score here as it nearly matched my Nationals final from this past March,” said Sevigny, commenting on his near record-setting performance. “Shooting steel can give you an honest perspective about what you can do with various types of firearms. The FNS-9 Longslide pistol has a range of purposes from competition, to recreational target shooting and personal protection.”
