FN Pro Shooter Dave Sevigny Wins in Arizona
Sevigny Scores 10th Consecutive Production Victory at USPSA Area 2
(McLean, VA – March 8, 2017) FN America, LLC is proud to announce that Dave Sevigny, FN Pro Shooter, earned his 10th consecutive production division victory at the USPSA Area 2 Desert Classic, held this March 4-6, 2017, in Mesa, Arizona. Sevigny, a Grand Master classed competitor, went head to head against tough competition to earn a 100-percent score with his FNS-9 Longslide.
On his win, Sevigny stated “[he’s] happy to have earned [his] 10th win with the FNS-9 Longslide at this great tournament. It’s one of the premier events each season.” Sevigny sailed through each course of fire, winning 13 of the 15 stages outright, scoring nearly a 200-point lead over the second place competitor and earning the fourth USPSA Area 2 Production title for the FNS striker-fired pistol.
The 2017 USPSA Area 2 Rio Salado Desert Classic, in its 30th year, drew over 70 competitors, 14 of which were Grand Master class. The 15-stage course required over 350 rounds fired with stationary and moving targets to challenge each competitors’ skills.
Sevigny will compete next at the USPSA Alabama Section Championship in Midland City, Alabama, March 10 -11.
